The Sekura application requires no registration; a simple circle contains four buttons. The blue button triggers a shrill alarm and flashes your device, the red button calls the authorities, the yellow button sends your location to 3 predefined contacts and the purple button simulates a fake call. It's all there to try and throw off your attacker or stalker. A fifth button in the form of a map lets you mark your current location as dangerous.

Feel, the anti-bullying, caring social network for teenagers
With his Feel application, Guillaume Vilain, an entrepreneur and former teacher from Tournai, aims to combat bullying and teenage malaise, and thus reduce the number of suicides, the second leading cause of death among young people. After an initial test phase, he is now tackling the school environment in order to provide more effective help to headteachers and teachers dealing with this kind of problem.

‘Masque 19’, a code against
domestic violence
In practical terms, the victim is invited to go to the pharmacist using the code word ‘masque 19’. The pharmacist then protects the victim and checks with him or her whether the police (112) are urgently needed or whether he or she would like to be taken into the care of the municipal service for the prevention of conflict and violence in the family and at school.
